Dr. Naseem Ahmed is presently working as Senior Research Fellow
(BPS19) at National Institute of Historical and Cultural Research,
Center of Excellence, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He has
completed his Ph. D in June, 2008, from National Institute of
Pakistan Studies, QAU. The title of his thesis is "Pakistan
Afghan Policy during the Taliban Period" his area
of specialization is Pakistan Afghan Policy, Taliban, and War
against Terrorism and Pak-U.S. cooperation. During serves at NIHCR
Dr. Ahmed has submitted one article to institute. The title in
this article is "Pakistan Afghan
Policy: Historical Perspective 1947-1977." He
has also submitted three other articles to different Pakistani
Journals. The titles of these articles as follows:
1. Pakistan Foreign Policy: Role
of Military.
2. General Zia's Afghan Policy 1977-1988.
3. General Musharraf's Taliban Policy
1999-2008.
Dr. Naseem is also working on two other projects one is 'the Origin
and History of Sindhi Language,' and other is 'Cultural change
in Pakistan,' which he is hoping to be presented before the next
academic council meeting for the approval of the projects.
